Hardwood Flooring Company

There are many reasons to choose hardwood flooring: it’s sturdy, classic, adaptable, and easily cleaned.

Hardwood is difficult to damage seriously, while even if it becomes scuffed or scraped it can be relatively easy to repair. Besides being durable, hardwood floor also provides your home with an elegant and stylish look that will impress your guests. Furthermore, it can match well with many different styles of furnishings! This means that if you won’t have to change your floor if a few years down the road you decide to change your decor. In the meantime, hardwood won’t need any more cleaning than perhaps a weekly sweeping or vacuuming, with a deep clean at most once a year.

As a bonus, because of all these other benefits, hardwood flooring will also increase the value of your home!

Laminate Flooring Company

In the event that your financial plan doesn’t allow for hardwood, you might need to consider laminate flooring.

Laminate flooring is in some ways much more sturdy than hardwood, since it is made of compressed wood surfaced by a thin protective layer. This makes it exceptionally impervious to scrapes and scratches, for a long time. Unlike hardwood, however, it can’t be resurfaced after it has worn out. While it doesn’t compare with genuine hardwood for looks, laminate flooring is available in an even more extensive assortment of styles, all at a significantly lower cost. It’s as simple to maintain as hardwood, and it has UV protection included within its protective layer, so sunlight won’t fade it.

If you’re looking for an affordable alternative to hardwood, laminate flooring is probably the choice for you.

Engineered Hardwood Flooring Company

Hardwood can have one major disadvantage: it doesn’t react well to moisture, tending to expand when wet and shrink when dry. This make it a poor choice for rooms with fluctuating moisture levels, but fortunately there is another option: engineered hardwood.

Engineered hardwood, unlike laminate flooring, is made entirely out of wood. On its surface is a thin layer of normal hardwood, which gives it the same classic look and feel. Underneath this layer are multiple levels of high density fiberboard, providing it with considerably improved moisture resistance. Engineered hardwood is also more environmentally friendly than traditional hardwood, since more boards can be made from each tree, and less wood is wasted.

Engineered hardwood can of course be slightly more expensive than traditional hardwood, while it also can’t be sanded and refinished as many times as solid hardwood. If the extra moisture resistance and environmental friendliness are important to you, then engineered hardwood is the way to go.

Tile Flooring Company

Good tile flooring is considered the sturdiest and longest lasting flooring option. Sections of a home that need to be water resistant, such as bathrooms and kitchens, are particularly appropriate for tile flooring, since properly glazed ceramic or porcelain tiles can resist water practically completely. Due to the many different styles that are available, tiles can also be a great pick for decoration.

Tile can last up to 50 years or more, even in rooms with heavy traffic, so it is often chosen by businesses that need a floor which can age well, while retaining a sharp look.

Flooring Restoration Services

You could have an excellent hardwood floor, but eventually it’s going to need to be refinished to restore its stylish appearance (and increase the price of your home!). It may not be as apparent, but a newly refinished floor is also less difficult to keep clean than an old one, considering that there aren’t any dents or imperfections left to trap dust and allergens. If you’d like to restore your floor to its former glory, call our experts now!
